Abundance	no records of this species , Distribution map
Distribution	Nordatlantik, Frankreich bis Spitzbergen, Nordsee und westliche Ostsee Nordatlantische Art der gemäßigten bis kühlen Gewässer, sowohl in Amerika als auch in Europa weit verbreitet. In der nördlichen Nordsee regelmäßig, weiter südlich sowie im Kattegat und der westlichen Ostsee nur vereinzelt und als Irrgast. 2006 ein Exemplar in der Themse in London.
Status	Irrgast vagrant
Climate dependence	kälteliebende Art Kältegebundene Art, zieht sich bei Erwärmung aus der südlichen Nordsee zurück
